I started by looking for my machines on ebay. They are a fraction of what the manufacturers want. I know you don’t have any help placing the machines but then the fees aren’t hefty either.

1. Scout locations and talk with the “facilities manager”
2. Decide on what type of product you will be distributing
3. Search for “Vending Machine” + “Lease”
4. Call one of their sales reps to discuss getting you started as cheap as possible and where to get your supplies.
5. Chances are if you already have signed agreements on placement they’ll let you start a lease with very little money if any.
6. Get placement by offering a percentage to your host.
Good Luck!

There are several ways, but the first thing you should do is to createa business plan.
The State of Michigan has a great website for this type of thing (if not in Michigan ignore the State tax and license stuff – but the guide is still good) – just go to Michigan.gov.
Then you need to deicde on a legal entity to do business in – see the guide.
From there you havea pretty good start
