Why Don’t Yong Adults(19-25) Respect Opinions And Experience Of Adults?
I work at a Bank but I have a part time job at a retail store just to save money b/c I would like to buy a house. I was on a break today when a employee comes in and ask Hey can I have a dollar or some change for the vending machine. I said no b/c here I am trying to save money by bringing my lunch to wk everyday and when I come to my part time job every one asks me for money. I ‘m just giving out what I could be saving. This happens a lot. Most of the other employees know I have another job so they may even ask to borrow $5,$10 or $20 dollars. But they dont pay me back so I started saying no.
There was a sale paper from a near by drug store I clipped a coupon and someone called me a penny pencher!!! I’m not a cheap but If I can save some money why should I pay more. Every little bit helps. I explained to them U don’t understand ur living with ur parents. You don’t know what it is to be on ur own and how hard it can be.
Made me feel like they don’t respect me or my wisdom.

because they think they know it all and their parents don`t know what they are talking about i was the same way til i got older

Not everyone is like that. I’m 24, married and have three children. My husband and I save our spare change and use it for a date night. It definatly does add up. Keep saving and hopefully you will get the respect you deserve.
