I work for a soft drink distributor in San Antonio and we are required to put A&W in all our vending machines. I guess it depends on the company distributing their particular flavor.

Rootbeer is sold in vending machines here in South dakota. It probably depends on your region and what sells best

You just have to find the right one. Believe me, they are sold in bottled vending machines. . .*sip*
